"50 Years a Watchtower Slave" Chapter 6
by new boy inchapter 6. jesus and the flag.
my mother told me that “the end” was coming very soon.
so at the encouragement of mother and many others in the congregation i was baptized in january 1967 and started full time ministry as “pioneer” in may of 1968.. in fact she told me when i was younger that i would never even get out of high school before “the end” would come.

Pyramid Schemes
by schnell inseveral years ago, i was introduced to a "wonderful" company called fortune hi tech marketing by a brother and his wife.
they had been introduced by a former sheriff who claims he had researched the company and found no leins or judgments, and that former sheriff had been brought in by a pastor.
you can read what happened with fhtm on wikipedia if you so desire.. this whole new idea of multilevel marketing had my brain reeling, though, and soon enough, i actually signed up with none other than prepaid legal.

The wife of one of my guy's at the shop got involved with Primerica. Another one where recruitment trumps the product. The guy that was coaching her even came to the shop here to talk to her then husband ( divorced now ).
Another one IU have first hand experience with is Isagenix superfood products. I admit to using the vitamins and shakes as a supplement. They do work as well as any other competing brands I suppose, better than any GNC product I tried. However their marketing speil is for the birds, I saw through it right away and ran. I just order through a friend or pick-up at a weight loss clinic. My friend still has his easy city job however, I doubt he could live off the product sales alone.

did a jehovah’s witness die after refusing a blood transfusion, and should the state have let it happen?.

After a couple inactive years of claiming depression ( which was true ) I simply sent in a DA letter to off my back and make a clean break in my mind. Works wonders, they flee from me like cockroaches in bright kitchen light ! One former friend elder agreed that Bethel was unfair and harsh, beard policy stupid, anti-education stance is dumb and the constant drumming of 'pioneer' service annoying. But he just stays in and cries 'LOYALTY' like those parroting drones on JW TV. During that last phone conv. I had with his I just said that WTBTS does NOT have the monopoly on the Bible, that it's a free world and I decide as I please and to please realize that he legally cannot do a thing about it. I'm 52 years old for crying out loud and he was speaking to me like a child. I think the fact I 'studied' with him made my quitting harder on him. That and he also tried the old guilt trip of 'who taught you the Bible ?' approach. I agreed to it as I knew nothing about scripture beforehand. What I forgot to mention was I paid dearly for it in contributions, time, wearing myself out, medical cost when I had my breakdown etc.
